Circular Cranes are suitable for locations where the gantry girder & runway rail are to be mounted on circular structure and the crane runs on circular path.
End carriages for these type of cranes are specially designed for facilitating smooth running. These type of cranes find their applications in petrochemical industries, pump houses, sponge iron plants, etc
Reva has supplied many such cranes. The accuracy of machining the end carriages should be precise and the desired angle should be maintained. Reva can manufacture these with ease on their sophisticated CNC machining centres.
The Traverser is an equipment to transfer material from one shop to another. It has been majorly used in the railways for handling all sorts of railway rolling stock, which travels on rails along the ground.
This product was developed by Reva for Indian Railways with immense innovation in terms of ultra low height.
For handling 260 M single length rail, Reva has designed and supplied Green Feild project involving 21 nos of fixed Gantry cranes. These 21 cranes are installed 12.5M apart. These cranes are PLC controlled and run in synchronisation.
Reva has designed stacker cranes for customised application wherein there is a long lifting beam of 12 M length being held at 3 different places through wire ropes. However, the ropes come from a single drum. The drum has been designed specially so that the synchronisation of the speeds is achieved through single source of operation.
