Myth : Limit switches may be bypassed. It is does not hamper the performance and I am able to get more movements from the crane.
Fact : limit switches are meant for safety. By passing limit switches is dangerous and can lead to a major accident.
Infact this should be a Daily check to operate the crane at no load and check whether all the limit switches are working properly or not. Any defective limit switch should be replaced immediately and no compromise with safety of crane should be jeopardized.
