Myth : Angle Iron DSL is much better than Shrouded bus bar system.
Fact : Shrouded Bus Bar Systems are much better in performance compared to Angle Iron Type. Because
1) Shrouded bus bar is IP21 protected,
2) the current collector of the same is spring loaded on a pantagraph based mechanism and hence can move in all 4 directions as cranes moves, hence loss of contact is rare.
3) being enclosed with PVC it has shock advanages.
4) it is mounted upside down, hence dust, birds shit etc will not cause problems in its working.
