Shrouded Bus Bar Is Much Better Than Festoon Arrangement

1) Shrouded bus bar can be used for curved path much better
2) festooning have problem of trolleys getting stuck and then breaking
3) there is accomodation of dust on the track of festoon cables, which causes hinderence in the movement. there is no such problem in Shrouded
4) the current collector of the same is spring loaded on a pantagraph based mechanism and hence can move in all 4 directions as cranes moves, hence loss of contact is rare
5) with shrouded bus bar on the same track 2 or more cranaes can work
6) festoon wound length (when all the trolleys are together) is complete waste of space and the monorail beam also. with shrouded bus bar this space is saved.
7) with shrouded bus bar there is no restriction on the length. Whereas festoon arrangement can go max upto 50-60M of travel length.
